Whole Home Remodeling and Renovation Across Maryland
Kitchens, baths, basements, and decks in one project, on one schedule, under one price.
Whole Home Remodeling
Home Renovation in Maryland, Room by Room or All at Once
Most homeowners remodel one room at a time because that’s how it usually gets sold — a kitchen this year, a bathroom in two years, a basement eventually. Doing it as one project is often less expensive per room and always faster overall: one permit package, one schedule, and no living through demo three separate times. DMV Fix handles full interior transformations across kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and living spaces, plus home additions and custom decks. You get an itemized scope by room before anything starts, and daily progress in your JobTread portal throughout. We work across Rockville, Bethesda, Columbia, Silver Spring, and Montgomery County.

Why DMV Fix?
KEY BENEFITS
One Project, Not Five
Kitchens, baths, basements, and additions run on a single schedule with a single point of contact, instead of five separate jobs spread over five years.
Scoped by Room, Priced as a Whole
You see what each space costs inside the total, so you can adjust or defer one room without renegotiating the entire project.
You Only Live Through It Once
One demo, one permit cycle, one finish phase. Phasing a remodel means repeating the disruptive part every single time you start again.
How Your Whole-Home Remodel Comes Together
Whole-Home Walkthrough
We walk every space you’re considering, not just the one you called about, and map out what’s structurally possible across the house.
Phased or All-at-Once Planning
Some homes are better done in one push, others in two stages. We lay out both options with the cost difference before you commit.
Permits, Design & Ordering
One permit package covering every phase, with materials ordered across all rooms up front so nothing stalls mid-project.
Build & Daily Updates
Every room tracked in your JobTread portal with daily photos and progress, from first demo through the final walkthrough.

Whole-Home Remodeling Questions
Is it cheaper to remodel my whole home at once or one room at a time?
Doing it in one project usually costs less per room. You pay for one permit package, one design phase, and one mobilization instead of repeating all three every few years, and material orders across rooms can be consolidated.
How long does a whole home remodel take?
It depends entirely on scope. For reference, a kitchen runs four to eight weeks on its own, a bathroom four to eight, and a basement six to twelve. Combined projects overlap phases rather than adding those numbers together.
Do I have to move out during the remodel?
Not always. Sequencing can usually keep at least one bathroom and a functioning kitchen available through most of the project. We plan that with you up front, because it affects both the schedule and your budget.
Can you add square footage, not just remodel what's already there?
Yes. Home additions, load-bearing wall removal, and full layout reconfiguration are all part of what we handle, including the structural engineering and county permitting each requires.
Do you handle decks and outdoor spaces too?
Yes. Custom decks in composite or premium wood, built to handle Maryland weather. They’re often worth folding into a larger project since the permitting and scheduling overlap with interior work.
